Our Story
Peck Mill was founded in 2020 by us, Ashley and Ed, two long-time friends who have known each other since we were just 11 years old, where we met in high school.
Over the years, our friendship has grown into a strong partnership built on trust, mutual respect, and shared values. We both discovered early on that we shared a real passion for the construction industry. Ed with his love for joinery and his natural organisational and management skills, and Ashley with leadership experience, deep knowledge of the property and construction sectors and attention to detail. It did not take long for us to realise how well our skills complemented each other, and that is when the idea of building something together really started to take shape.
Peck Mill Projects was the result of that vision. We wanted to create a local construction company where strong, genuine relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that building trust and open communication is key to delivering quality work, which is why we have been fortunate to work with an amazing team of talented fine design experts, architects, and dependable sub-contractors who share our enthusiasm for working to the highest professional standards, with a special focus on helping our clients design and build their dream, forever home.
We started out by refurbishing and extending smaller properties, perfecting our skills and techniques along the way. Today, we are proud to have built a solid reputation for managing both new build and refurbishments on larger residential properties throughout Cheshire. We take immense pride in offering a pair of trusted hands and ensure we deliver a personalised service on every single project.
Our team is made up of dedicated specialists, each an expert in their field, with over 150 years of combined experience. We are relentless about delivering the finest finishes and exceeding expectations, ensuring that every project we take on results in sensational outcomes for our clients. Ashley Richmond BSc (Hons) | Managing Director
Ashley has been involved in the construction and property sector from an early age as the construction industry runs in his family.
Ashley started out on-site and then progressed to Project Management having been involved in a range of projects ranging from a 2 Up 2 Down refurbishment through to a 33 Storey residential tower with a construction value of £47 million!
Ashley is a great leader, he brings teams together to deliver spectacular results.
He is responsible for business development, work winning, tendering & quotations, commercial/finance and strategy as well as ensuring we deliver the highest standards possible for our customers.
Edward Oliver | Construction Director
With over a decade of experience within the industry, Ed founded Peck Mill Projects in 2020.
Ed’s background is joinery where he commenced working on some of Cheshire and Lancashire’s most prestigious projects.
Ed’s experience and man-management covers both commercial and domestic projects.
Ed is a construction whizz meaning he now leads the construction team! He is responsible for all aspects of site works, technical work, operation, labour resources and mentoring as well as keeping PMP delivering to the highest standards possible
